Not much of an X-mas card™ - edition 2022

Hi,

I have no clue how yet another year has passed and where to even start with my wishes for the upcoming one. For myself, I know this has been a year of self-awareness and a reminder that it’s the little things that make the tables turn, and that a pause — even if an uninvited guest — is sometimes necessary to appreciate the things we miss in our haste.

I would like to believe that this email finds you in good health and in a cheerful spirit, that serenity adorns your face and light illuminates your days.

If not, I’m sending you hugs and wishes for it in the future.

I wish you discoveries that will bring you unknown yet strength and peace. I wish you simple times, precedented times, times of calm and quiet tides. I wish you knowledge. For the essential, for the unimportant, for the truly necessary and for the irrelevant. About what takes your breath away and what fills your eyes with love.

I wish you silliness. And joy. Pure unadulterated joy. In the way you look at the world, and of the way the world treats you daily. I wish you strength. To overcome whatever is behind you or what’s still ahead of you. I wish you new roads – planned or newly discovered. I wish you crossroads and choices that lead you to happier outcomes.

I wish you strength. And mighty resistances.

And above all, I wish you gentleness. Give yourself the same care that you’d give to those closest to you.
